Welcome

"You are an enemy of God, dead in your sin and in your present state of rebellion; you are not even able to see that you need life, much less to cause yourself to come to life."
This is not a pleasant introduction.

You might picture God (or whatever you believe in) at the top of a mountain. "It seems as if you believe that we are all at the bottom of the mountain and I may take one route up the mountain, you may take another, and in the end we will all end up in the same place."
Now, let me ask you a question. What would you think if I told you that the God at the top of the mountain actually came to where we are? God doesn't wait for people to find their way to him, but instead, he comes to you.
That would be great.

That is Jesus of Nazareth, known as the Savior, God's only son, wonderful, counselor, almighty God, the everlasting Father, the prince of peace. It was his burden to take all of mankind's sin and carry it to death.

The horror of this burden was so great that God himself turned away from viewing his son with all of our sins piled upon him.
But, to prove his holiness, Jesus died and God his father, and our creator, made him alive again. Belief in his son is the way to live with God in peace, now, and when we move beyond our flesh. We do not have to climb the mountain. God comes to us.
