Welcome "You are an enemy of God, dead in your sin and in your present state of rebellion; you are not even able to see that you need life, much less to cause yourself to come to life." You might picture God (or whatever you believe in) at the top of a mountain. "It seems as if you believe that we are all at the bottom of the mountain and I may take one route up the mountain, you may take another, and in the end we will all end up in the same place." That is Jesus of Nazareth, known as the Savior, God's only son, wonderful, counselor, almighty God, the everlasting Father, the prince of peace. It was his burden to take all of mankind's sin and carry it to death. The horror of this burden was so great that God himself turned away from viewing his son with all of our sins piled upon him.
